Have items you no longer need? Donate them to Second Act Thrift & Boutique and we’ll help give them a new life on our racks and shelves—and a new purpose in supporting local theater programs.

We accept gently used, clean items that are ready for their next home, including clothing, shoes, accessories, media (books, CDs, DVDs, vinyl), household items and decor, toys, and more! Your donations help keep quality inventory flowing, reduce waste, and support creativity in our community.

Donation Perk Options

As a thank you, donors may choose one of the following donation perks:

Option One: Discount coupon

Donors who select this option will receive a 15% off coupon to use on a future purchase.*

• One coupon per donation drop-off

• Valid on a future visit (not same-day use)

• Cannot be combined with other offers

It’s our way of saying thank you—and giving you a reason to come back and shop your finds.

Option Two: Support a Theater Program

Donors who select this option will designate one of our theater program Stage Partners to receive financial support in honor of their donation.

What We Accept

We gladly accept:

• Clothing (men’s, women’s, and children’s)

• Shoes and accessories

• Handbags and jewelry

• Costumes and unique/vintage pieces

• Home decor

• Housewares

• Media (books, CDs, DVDs)

• Toys and games

• Tools

• Office and craft supplies

• Sports equipment

• Electronics

• And more!

Items should be:

• Clean and odor-free

• In good, useable condition

• Free of stains, holes, or excessive use

What We Cannot Accept

To keep our store organized and high-quality, we do not accept:

• Damaged, stained, or heavily worn items

• Items with strong odors (smoke, mildew, etc.)

• Undergarments or used socks

• Large furniture or oversized items (without prior approval)

• Broken or untested electronics

• Carseats

• Infant clothing or furniture

• Children’s sleepwear

We reserve the right to decline any donation based on condition or current inventory needs.

Important Information About Donations

Second Act Thrift & Boutique is a for-profit business.

• Donations are not tax-deductible.

• We do not provide tax receipts for donated goods.

• See above for donation perk options.

We are always happy to provide a simple acknowledgment of your donation for your personal records.

Donation Hours

Donations are accepted during the following times:

Wednesday - Sunday, 10am-5pm

Please do not leave donations outside the store when we are closed.
